Sound Health is an ongoing collaboration between the Kennedy Center and the National Institutes of Health, in association with the National Endowment for the Arts, that seeks to explore the intersection between music, the brain and wellness. Spearheaded by Artistic Advisor at Large Renée Fleming, Sound Health brings together leading researchers, music therapists and arts practitioners to better understand the impact of arts on the mind and body.
In early June scientists, researchers, music therapists, and musicians gathered at the Kennedy Center for Sound Health: Music and the Mind, check for upcoming Sound Health events.
